For me, lighting a candle in my home has always felt like the finishing touch.

After an especially satisfying clean-up, while curled up in my favourite chair about to crack the spine on a new book, or in those final moments before guests arrive, I never feel fully ready until I light a candle.

Ritual has always been important to me. It shows up in almost everything we do, especially in the ways that we care for ourselves and for others. In the restaurant industry, where I have spent most of my career, every detail is intentional. Rituals guide each service and, when done just right, the smells, tastes, and ambience can transport you somewhere entirely different.

In the same way, fragrance can instantly transport you to a memory, a season, or a place you love. allume. was created from a lifelong love of small moments and all of the rituals that make a home feel warm and welcoming. Inspired by the slower pace of coastal living, relaxed elegance, and the natural beauty around us, our candles are designed to create atmosphere just as much as fragrance. In our studio, candles are not simply décor items, they are part of how we gather, unwind, celebrate, and create memories.

My inspiration comes from places and moments that feel timeless:

• salty ocean air drifting through open windows

• sun-washed linen

• fresh flowers and vintage tableware

• dinner parties that linger late into the evening

• quiet mornings with coffee and soft music playing in the background

I aim to create candles that capture those feelings, sophisticated but comforting, elevated but approachable. Every allume. scent is a unique blend of clean burning frangrance oils, so you won't find those signature allume. smells anywhere else. Every candle is hand-poured with careful attention to scent balance, burn quality, and aesthetic design.

My goal is to create scents that you will return to again and again because they become part of your life and your memories. In a world that often moves too quickly, my aim is to slow down and celebrating the everyday. Join me in those small everyday luxuries like using the fancy dishes on ordinary days or lighting a candle just because, and lets create spaces that feel warm and inviting.
